Marvin “Mick” Jarrell (1904-1952)

Marvin “Mick” Jarrell, brother of my maternal grandfather, Vernon Lee Jarrell. Sadly, Both brothers had brief “shotgun” marriages in 1929/1930 and were divorced after the children were born. Mick’s daughter was adopted out and re-connected with my mother, her first cousin, in the 1980s (they are still in touch). Vernon’s son (my mother’s half-brother) was raised by his mother and step-father, whose name he adopted. My family didn’t know about him until I found him mentioned in the divorce records a few years ago. He died in the 1980s, so they never got to meet. His son was kind enough to send photos, so my Mom could see the brother she never knew. #falknerjarrell #familyhistory #genealogy #familyphotos #ancestry #history #knowyouroots #family #vintagephotography #oldphoto #ancestor #genealogyresearch #familytree #familyhistorian #findyourroots #traceyourroots #genealogia #familyarchives #jarrellgenealogy #jarrell #ancestors #lovefamilyhistory #detroit #michigan #family #longlostfamily #lostfamily #cousins #longlostcousin #longlostbrother
