These photographs are likely from the late 1800s/early 1900s and relate to the Schauer/Schermack branch of the family, of Freeport, Illinois. Some photographs may be siblings of Amelia Schauer Schermack, daughter of Gottlieb and Phillipina Schauer. Married names of Amelia’s sisters include Grell, Kaiser, and Peatow.
