Cycling in the 1930s. My paternal grandmother, Agnes Carney Falkner (left), cycles with friends. My grandmother’s friend, Winifried, is at center. They worked together as telephone operators, starting in the 1930s. I believe my grandparents met through Winifried and her first husband.
