Helen Maxine Jarrell

Helen Maxine Jarrell. She is the daughter of my grandfather’s brother, Marvin Harold “Mick” Jarrell. He married her mother, Marion L. Abbey, in 1929, but abandoned them. Sadly, Helen was put up for adoption. She later located her birth mother and, eventually connected with my mother, her first cousin on her birth father’s side. Around the same time, my grandfather, (Mick’s brother), had a similar early marriage and child, whom he also abandoned.
