Griffiths Valuation for Brierfield, Roscommon Co., Ireland. According to the 1911 UK Census, my great-grandfather, Thomas Carney, was born at Brierfield around 1857, but I have not found any additional documentation. Most of the area was the estate of the Hawkes Family and I have not located an archive of their records.
