Gottlieb and Philippine Schauer (my 3x great-grandparents), late 19th Century, colorized by My Heritage. The family immigrated from Nürtingen, Baden-Württemberg (present day Germany) to the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA in 1848. They moved to Reading, Pennsylvania, USA, where several children were born, including Amelia Schauer Schermack (b. 1853), my great-great grandmother.
